Demetra is a trading-journal service: it records, organises and analyses your own trades and backtests. It includes a web app, an optional desktop app, a local bridge and an MT5 connector.
Demetra has two editions. Cloud stores the journal on our servers and supports connected analytics, the AI assistant and sharing; it is not zero-knowledge. Private / Local Vault is free during the current request-based early-access stage: the desktop build keeps journal content in local SQLCipher-encrypted databases and does not upload it to Demetra Cloud. The database key is protected for the current Windows user with DPAPI. Local encrypted backup and same-user recovery are included; cloud backup and synchronization are not. See the Privacy Policy for the exact data flow.
Demetra does not provide investment, financial, tax or legal advice. Analytics, statistics and the AI assistant are informational tools computed from your own data — they are not recommendations to buy, sell or hold anything. You alone make your trading decisions and bear their consequences. Trading carries a high risk of loss.
Don't: break the law, attack or overload the service, reverse-engineer or scrape it, resell or sublicense access, upload others' data without a right to, or abuse the AI assistant. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or create risk for others.
Private / Local Vault is free during the current early-access stage. Access is issued manually after a request and may be granted for a limited testing period. There is no Private charge or automatic renewal at this stage. When access expires, journaling locks but the local database is not deleted and local backup/export remains available. Any future paid plan will require advance notice, separate pricing/terms and your explicit agreement; it will not create a retroactive charge.
We aim for reliable service but don't guarantee it's always available, error-free, or that data is never lost — keep your own backups/exports. Private users are responsible for protecting and backing up the local database; there is no current Demetra cloud backup for it. We may change or discontinue features and update these terms; material changes will be announced. Continued use means acceptance.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, Demetra isn't liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect/consequential damages arising from use of the service or reliance on its analytics.
